Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is seeking a perinatal ultrasound technologist to perform OB ultrasound examinations in the perinatal units under the Maternal Fetal Medicine leadership.

Must hold RDMS in OB, be BLS certified, and complete OB cervical length certification within 12 months. The role requires 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) with 72 hours bi-weekly and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or related field.
  • BLS required upon hire.
  • RDMS – OB certification required upon hire.
  • Cervical length certification in OB/GYN within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality ultrasound images per AIUM guidelines.
  • Assist with invasive procedures as needed.
  • Complete studies accurately and timely.
  • Maintain certifications and drive continuous learning.
  • Act as a resource for staff, students and residents.

Schedule:
  • Full-time position, 72-hours bi-weekly

Minimum Job Requirements:

Job Overview:

This position exists in the perinatal specialty units and works under the direction of the Maternal Fetal Medicine staff and or manager or supervisor. Must demonstrate competencies in a variety of OB procedures, performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM guidelines and protocols. The incumbent is responsible for the care of patients, accurate record keeping, care of equipment and other duties as assigned. This position requires RDMS registry in OB and must meet the minimum continuing education requirements of the registry and AIUM as appropriate.
