Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasonographer for Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. The role requires RDMS in OB, cervical length certification within 1 year, BLS, and graduation from an approved diagnostic medical sonography program.

The ultrasonographer will perform OB ultrasound exams under Maternal Fetal Medicine supervision, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate records while supporting a team in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
• RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Upon Hire Required
• Other OB/GYN Cervical length certification within 1 Year Required

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time (32 hours weekly)


• Rotates Holidays and On Call, no Weekends

Job Overview:

This position exists in the perinatal specialty units and works under the direction of the Maternal Fetal Medicine staff and or manager or supervisor. Must demonstrate competencies in a variety of OB procedures, performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM guidelines and protocols. The incumbent is responsible for the care of patients, accurate record keeping, care of equipment and other duties as assigned. This position requires RDMS registry in OB and must meet the minimum continuing education requirements of the registry and AIUM as appropriate.
