Job summary

Northern Inyo Healthcare District in Bishop, CA is seeking a Perinatal RN for part-time shifts. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The RN delivers collaborative perinatal care per hospital policies and the patient care plan, providing direct nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum areas.

The role requires monitoring, medication administration, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe, family-centered care and adherence to standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with active RN license.
• Minimum one year labor/delivery experience preferred.
• Current California RN license and BLS required; NRP recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per department standards.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Monitor fetal status and manage labor, delivery and postpartum care.
• Administer medications with attention to dosage, route and effects.
• Coordinate with LVN and department staff to ensure safe, continuous care.
