Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance's Birth Center in Cambridge, MA is reopening and seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the launch team. You will deliver compassionate care through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period within a patient‑centered, collaborative environment.

You'll work with physicians, nurse‑midwives, and interdisciplinary colleagues, using EPIC and other clinical tools to support safe, high‑quality care. A BSN is preferred and MA RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; MA RN license required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Perinatal, Labor & Delivery, or Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and timely interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNMs, and interdisciplinary team for safe, individualized care.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions and positive birth experiences.
• Utilize EPIC and other clinical tools to support high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop best practices.
