Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine invite applications for a part-time Reproductive Psychiatrist to join the Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program at the Westchester Square Campus in the Bronx.

The role will provide outpatient care for perinatal patients with moderate to severe mental illness and will involve teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential leadership opportunities based on experience.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Psychiatry is required or anticipated.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or Reproductive Psychiatry is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care of perinatal patients with moderate to severe mental illness.
• Participate in education and training of medical students, Psychiatry residents, fellows, psychology interns and postdocs.
• Deliver care within the Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program with three cohorts of twelve patients per cohort.
• Collaborate with the team to address social determinants of health and social justice.

Education

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or Reproductive Psychiatry encouraged
