Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or DNP preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years obstetric/labor and delivery experience.
• National certifications: OB or IAP; ONQS; EFM; within 6 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Life Support within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation and evaluation of obstetric patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Lead continuous clinical and professional development of nursing staff and evidence-based practice innovations.
• Focus on enhancing perinatal care processes and outcomes within a culture of safety.

Education

Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or DNP

Minimum of 5 years obstetric/labor and delivery experience

Inpatient Obstetric (OB) or Inpatient Antepartum (IAP) certification

Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety (ONQS) certification

Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification

Neonatal Resuscitation; Basic Life Support
