Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Research Specialist to design and execute high-level studies in perinatal and pediatric pharmacoepidemiology under the direction of principal investigators.

You will contribute to scientific literature, reports, and grant submissions, collaborating with Harvard faculty and a large research team to advance understanding of drug outcomes and safety in real-world data.

Qualifications

• MS or doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an academic research setting.
• Strong knowledge of epidemiologic methods with pharmacoepidemiology focus.
• Experience in research using large claims databases.
• Ability to collaborate on clinical projects.
• Background in pharmaceuticals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute analyses of therapeutic outcomes and adverse effects.
• Analyze and interpret data findings, prepare summaries, reports and presentations.
• Contribute to scientific literature through oral and poster presentations and manuscripts.
• Participate in study design and protocol development.
• Assist with IRB submissions for new research protocols.
• Contribute to grant proposals and grant materials.
• Prepare sections of research reports and manuscripts.
• Perform advanced data analysis with the research team.
