Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Research Specialist to conduct high-level pharmacoepidemiology analyses under Harvard-affiliated investigators. You will design studies, analyze complex datasets, and contribute to manuscripts and grant materials in a collaborative, international research unit.

The role supports IRB processes, participates in study design, and communicates results through reports and presentations. Hybrid work with a base at 399 Revolution Drive, Boston area.

Qualifications

• MS (or equivalent) or doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field; emphasis on methods and pharmaco-epidemiology preferred.
• Experience in an academic research setting (3–5 years) is required.
• Excellent knowledge of epidemiologic methods; pharmacoepidemiology focus is desirable.
• Experience with large claims databases and collaborative clinical research is preferred.
• Strong critical appraisal skills and pharmaceutical background are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute analyses of drug outcomes and adverse effects.
• Perform advanced data analyses in collaboration with Principal Investigators.
• Contribute to scientific literature, reports, and grant proposals.
• Assist with IRB submissions and study protocol development.
• Prepare summaries and presentations from analysis results.
