Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in a perinatology clinic to perform specialized obstetric ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies and support maternal-fetal medicine physicians with high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The role requires ARDMS OB/GYN certification, current or within 30 days of hire BLS, and 2–3 years of obstetric ultrasound experience, preferably in a high-risk setting. Excellence in patient comfort and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• OB/GYN ARDMS certification
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire
• Minimum 2–3 years obstetric ultrasound experience
• Perinatal/high-risk setting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed obstetric ultrasound exams including fetal anatomy scans, growth assessments, and Doppler studies
• Assist with invasive procedures under ultrasound guidance
• Document and archive images in PACS/EMR and ensure image quality
• Communicate findings and coordinate with maternal-fetal medicine team
