Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a part-time Program Instructor for the Outpatient Perinatal Education Department. You will deliver childbirth education training and other New Parent topics in person at THAA facilities and at partner work sites, with some sessions conducted virtually.

• Provide feedback to leadership regarding program operation, design, and modification as needed.
• Assist in program evaluation and identification of future program needs.
• Actively support promotional efforts of educational curriculum offerings

Position Purpose

• The Program Instructor in the Outpatient Perinatal Education Department, under limited supervision, provides education services in the community, work sites, and Trinity Health Ann Arbor (THAA) facilities as sponsored and arranged by the Perinatal Education Department of THAA.
• Instruction is provided for Childbirth Education Training and other New Parent topics on weekdays and weekends.
• Contingent, non-benefited position, classes presented using a combination of in person and/or virtual training, generally 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weeknights, with weekend class options generally held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Expect 1 - 2 classes per month.
