Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a part-time Program Instructor for the Outpatient Perinatal Education Department to provide education services in the community, work sites, and THAA facilities as sponsored by the Perinatal Education Department of THAA. Instruction is provided for Childbirth Education Training and other New Parent topics on weekdays and weekends.

Contingent, non-benefited position with classes in person and/or virtual, typically 5–8/6–9 pm on weeknights and 9 am–1 pm on

Qualifications

• Formal education/certification/licensure or training directly relevant to perinatal education.
• Documented experience delivering perinatal education and ongoing continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide education services in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide a comprehensive overview of information to all participants in learning sessions using various modalities.
• Assure confidentiality of information to all participants in learning sessions.
• Provide feedback to leadership regarding program operation, design, and modification as needed.
• Assist in program evaluation and identification of future program needs.
• Actively support promotional efforts of educational curriculum offerings
