Job summary

Providence Anesthesiology Associates Mobile in the Charlotte area is seeking a PRN PACU RN to support perioperative care across multiple partner facilities. This office-based, mobile role offers flexibility with no call, weekends, or holidays, and involves rotating between locations in Charlotte and surrounding areas.

As a Perianesthesia RN, you will prepare patients for anesthesia, assist during procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide recovery care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum 2 years in critical care, ICU, ER, or PACU.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as applicable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for anesthesia with health assessment and education.
• Assist anesthesiologists during procedures and anesthesia administration.
• Monitor vital signs and responses during perioperative period.
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care, including pain management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current.
