Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program or degree.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required upon completion of orientation.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, CNAs, and LPNs to ensure seamless perioperative care.

Education

Nursing degree/program

Registered Nurse license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

ACLS certification (upon orientation)

PALS certification within 6 months
