Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will document nursing care, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support discharge planning to meet patient needs and promote recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• WA RN license required upon hire.
• CPR certification at hire; ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 6 months.
• ICU residency or 6 months ICU experience preferred.
• BSN preferred with 2+ years in acute inpatient PACU setting.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents medications per policy.
• Assesss physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs; plan care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Documents care using the nursing process and monitors patient status.
• Prepare for discharge and coordinate post-discharge needs.
• Upholds safety, risk management and regulatory standards.
