Job summary

Methodist Hospital in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Perianesthesia team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist with surgery prep, recovery, and transport, and support patient and family experience.

This 0.8 FTE union role is day/evening shifts, with an hourly pay range of $21.38–$28.56 and benefits; MN CNA registry or LPN/RN student eligibility and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Minnesota CNA Registry or eligible LPN/RN student
• BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in Perianesthesia (Pre-op, PACU, Phase II)
• Prepare patients for surgery and recovery (vital signs, skin prep, documentation)
• Assist nurses during recovery and with post‑operative transport
