Job summary

Enloe Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Charge Nurse to provide unit-specific management leadership in Perianesthesia and collaborate with physicians to staff the patient care plan.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, staff education, and family support while guiding assigned staff and contributing to service excellence within the Surgery Services Department. Current RN licensure and Perianesthesia experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: One year of RN experience in a Perianesthesia Care Unit OR one year RN-Charge experience.
• Desired: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; two years Critical Care experience or more Perianesthesia relief charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse provides unit leadership, first-point-of-contact supervision, and direct patient care.
• Leads staff education, supports families, and coordinates care with physicians.
• Directs performance and supervises staff to ensure service excellence in Surgery Services.
