Job summary

Enloe Health in Chico, CA seeks a Charge Nurse in Perianesthesia to provide unit leadership, direct patient care, and family education in alignment with our mission.

Licensed RN with California licensure and critical care in Perianesthesia required; CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within 6 months. Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPAN/CAPA desired. This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in a Perianesthesia Care Unit or one year RN-Charge experience.
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Current ACLS certificate
• Current PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Basic Arrhythmia Class within one year of employment (dept tracks)
• Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or CAPA (desired)

Responsibilities

• Provide unit leadership and supervision for first-point-of-contact and staff.
• Direct patient care and direct education for patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret the medical plan and coordinate care.
• Support the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Surgery Services Department.
