Enloe Medical Center, Inc. in Northern California is seeking a Charge Nurse with Perianesthesia experience to provide unit leadership, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, patient and family education, and adherence to center standards. The ideal candidate holds RN licensure in California, with 1 year of Perianesthesia or RN-Charge experience, CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: One year of RN experience in a Perianesthesia Care Unit OR one year RN-Charge experience.
• Desired: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
• One Year of current RN experience in a Perianesthesia Care Unit
• Two years Critical Care experience or more Perianesthesia relief charge nurse experience
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Current ACLS certificate
• Current PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Basic Arrhythmia Class within one year of employment (dept tracks)
• Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) is desired

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-specific management leadership and first-point-of-contact supervision.
• Direct patient care, education for patients and families, and staff education.
• Collaborate with physicians and interpret the medical plan for staff.
• Direct performance and supervise assigned staff; support care delivery and family support.
