Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Perioperative Service Tech to assist with planning, purchasing, installation, and preventive maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies. You will serve as a liaison to other departments and assist the Anesthesia Department with patient care, while maintaining organized work and storage areas.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of anesthesia experience.
• Working knowledge of anesthesia equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on anesthesia equipment, reports repairs needed, exchanges CO₂ absorber, assists with specialized equipment, and responds to anesthesia provider requests.
• Collaborates with team members, maintains equipment/supply logs, cleans machines and carts daily and after use, and ensures emergency supplies are stocked.
• Assists with equipment tracking, requests maintenance as needed and responds promptly to pages.
• Prepares rooms and sterile fields, works with Sterile Processing, verifies instruments/supplies, and prioritizes workflow.
• Cleans and decontaminates instruments, educates ancillary staff, ensures safe transport, and performs other related duties.

Position Purpose:
