Qualifikationen

• BA/BS Degree.
• CPR Certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• CCP (ABCP) within 24 months from graduation date.
• 6 months of pediatric and adult experience - preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry; ability to operate perfusion equipment.

Aufgaben

• Provide routine patient care under the Director of Perfusion and Attending Cardiac Surgeon.
• Support extracorporeal circulation and/or oxygenation, and organ preservation.
• Operate the heart-lung machine, extracorporeal circuits, and related devices with documentation.
