Job summary

Amsect in Indiana is expanding its four-person perfusion team to cover 24/7/365 on-call care for open-heart surgery, major vascular procedures, ECMO, LVAD, cell salvage, and related procedures.

The role includes ECMO insertions, some transports and decannulations, and coordination with RN ECMO specialists to ensure continuous bedside care. Competitively paid with eligible signing bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and cardiopulmonary systems related to extracorporeal circulation.
• Proficient in operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of extracorporeal circulation equipment.
• Strong critical thinking and situational awareness for real-time adjustments during procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with physicians and teams.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 on-call perfusion coverage with the team.
