Job summary

Terrestris LLC seeks a Perfusionist to support veteran care in Richmond, VA. The role requires ABCP certification, 200+ perfusion cases, and strong expertise with heart-lung machines and ECMO. Valid U.S. work authorization is required.

The position offers a 1-year contract, Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotations, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and retirement plans. Prior VA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in perfusion OR Bachelor's or master's degree plus a post-baccalaureate certificate in perfusion
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Perfusion Technology program.
• ABCP certification.
• ≥200 clinical perfusion cases performed.
• Experience in open-heart surgery, autotransfusion, heart-lung machine, ECMO.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with rotational on-call.
• Provide direct patient care and perfusion support.
• Operate and manage heart-lung machine and life-support systems.
• Prepare pharmacologic agents for perfusion casework.
• Ensure perfusion safety and infection control policies.
• Educate staff on perfusion principles and equipment.
