Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Perfusionist to operate extracorporeal circulation and autotransfusion equipment during medical procedures that temporarily support or replace the patient's circulatory or respiratory function.

The Perfusionist collaborates with the physician to select the appropriate equipment and techniques, monitors physiologic parameters, and ensures safe management of cardiovascular and related systems under licensed physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Perfusion.
• Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
• Current NJ PERFUSIONIST license.

Responsibilities

• Operate extracorporeal circulation and autotransfusion equipment during procedures requiring circulatory or respiratory support.
• Collaborate with the physician to select the appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Monitor and analyze cardiovascular, circulatory or respiratory parameters under physician supervision.
