Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Performance Test Lead to steer end-to-end performance testing for enterprise apps. You will define workload models, design tests, run load/stress/endurance assessments, and identify bottlenecks across the stack.

You’ll collaborate with Dev, Architecture, and Ops to optimize performance and drive CI/CD integration, mentoring the team. The role requires lead-level QA/performance testing experience, expertise with LoadRunner/JMeter/NeoLoad/Gatling,

Qualifications

  • QA/Performance Testing experience with a lead role.
  • Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
  • Experience testing Web Apps, APIs, Microservices, and Cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, SQL, and Java/.NET architectures.
  • Experience with monitoring tools Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
  • Strong skills in performance analysis, capacity planning, and root cause identification.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Nice-to-have: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, Agile/Scrum, certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end performance testing activities for enterprise applications.
  • Define performance test strategy, workload models, and test plans.
  • Design, develop, and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks in application, database, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, and business teams to resolve issues.
  • Prepare performance reports and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in performance testing strategy, workload modeling, test execution, bottleneck analysis, and performance optimization for web, API, cloud, and distributed systems.Additional Information\*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
