STULZ Air Technology Systems, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support performance testing and documentation in our Intertek ETL Satellite lab. The role involves planning, coordinating, and scheduling testing activities and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will design test apparatus, develop scripts and material lists, and collaborate with sales, engineering and clients to meet testing requirements while maintaining ISO safety obligations.

Formación

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 5 years in engineering/technical role in manufacturing/testing environment.
• Experience with HVAC testing or service.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Experience with ISO standards and documentation.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support testing specifications and test scripts reviews.
• Create test planning docs: scripts, drawings, instrumentation lists.
• Determine root causes during performance testing to meet requirements.
• Establish internal test standards per ASHRAE procedures.
• Generate reports and communicate with other departments.
• Design test control apparatus and procedures for tests.
• Support on-site third-party NRTL testing (minimal travel).
• Maintain ISO and safety standards compliance.
