Job summary
Cisco is seeking a Performance Test Engineer in a hybrid role with in-office presence three days per week in San Jose, CA. You will architect and execute comprehensive performance tests across UI, API, and backend layers, and embed guardrails into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions early.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience (or equivalent).
- Expertise in load, stress, endurance, spike, and benchmarking testing.
- Experience with JMeter, NeoLoad or LoadRunner; UI performance auditing.
- Python or Java for utilities and test automation.
- Experience with hybrid SaaS/on-prem, Linux/Unix, AWS, and Splunk.
Responsibilities
- Architect and run end-to-end performance tests across UI, API, and backend.
- Diagnose bottlenecks in Linux, AWS environments.
- Embed automated performance guardrails into CI/CD pipelines.
- Innovate test workflows using AI tools to generate tests.
