KFC Corporation is seeking a Performance Engineer to optimize our Byte Platform's distributed systems and performance testing efforts. You will analyze complex workloads, identify bottlenecks, and develop tooling to measure and improve latency, throughput, and scalability.

Collaborating with Development, Quality Engineering, and Product teams, you will design tests for distributed databases and large datasets, automate analysis, and help ensure performance is built into our software development

We are seeking a Performance Engineer who can effectively contribute to performance testing efforts that support our Byte Platform offerings.

As a Performance Engineer, you will work on complex distributed systems, databases, and large clustered datasets, with a focus on optimizing overall product performance. You will collaborate with Development, Quality Engineering, and Product teams to deliver high-quality initiatives across our products throughout their development life cycles.

The key qualities we’re looking for are strong problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity to dig deeper, understand systems, and learn how they are wired together. This person will have experience with performance analysis, along with the ability to develop custom analysis and performance testing tools.
