Job summary

Insperity is seeking a performance improvement and training consultant to advise clients and service teams on improvement needs and evaluation. The role focuses on developing and recommending effective performance solutions that drive value, retention, and growth for client businesses.

The position requires a degree or equivalent experience, 4–5 years in the field, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Four to five years of work experience in performance improvement and training required.
  • Experience consulting with small to medium businesses preferred.
  • Maintaining active membership in a professional organization is preferred.
  • Training certification (DDI) preferred or obtainable within 3–4 months of hire.
  • HR knowledge and broad exposure to HR disciplines and their impact.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven success influencing leaders and achieving businessResults.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to and initiates client service requests.
  • Consults with client business owners and leaders regarding organizational and employee performance gaps, including needs analyses.
  • Develops, recommends and promotes performance improvement/training solutions.
  • Facilitates strategic initiatives such as teambuilding, process analyses, culture improvements, change management and leadership retreats.
  • Facilitates and coordinates training programs using existing materials and content.
  • Educates clients on Insperity Learning Portal usage.
  • Establishes methods to measure business impact of performance/training solutions.
  • Uses appropriate methods for addressing human behavior in business situations.
  • Executes care playbook as a client advocate and collaborates on service plans aligned with client strategy.
  • Participants in prospect meetings with Sales and Service Team members.

Summary

This position is responsible for consulting with clients and service team members regarding client’s performance improvement needs, then developing or recommending appropriate performance improvement/training solutions that provide value, positively impact our clients’ businesses and result in retention and growth.

  • Uses appropriate methods of dealing with human behavior in a variety of business circumstances.
  • Executes level of care playbook through authentic and intentional delivery as a client advocate.
  • Collaborates with team members to create service plan that aligns with client’s business strategy.
  • Participates in prospect meetings with Sales and Service Team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Four to five years of work experience in performance improvement and training is required.
  • Experience consulting with small to medium size businesses is preferred. Maintaining active membership in a professional organization to establish business network and stay abreast of changes and updates in the performance improvement/training field is preferred.
  • Training certification (DDI) is preferred or must be obtained within three to four months of hire date.
  • Human Resources knowledge/broad base exposure to various HR disciplines and understanding of their role and impact.
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proven success influencing leaders and positively impacting business results.
  • Effective presentation skills using visuals and other media.
  • Multi-tasking and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Customer service experience in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and requests on an on-going basis.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office program and demonstrates ability to learn other application programs as needed.
