Job summary

Covet IT Inc. seeks a Software Engineer focused on Performance and Load Testing to build tooling and infrastructure for realistic, production-like workloads at scale.

You will design traffic-replay systems, process logs, and transform large datasets into replayable test scenarios to help engineers reproduce performance issues. You should have 6+ years in software engineering, strong Python/Java/Go/C++ skills, and deep knowledge of HTTP, REST, JSON, WebSockets, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in Python, Java, Go, or C++.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, WebSockets, and distributed systems.
• Experience building automation, tooling, or data-processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design traffic-replay and workload-generation tooling for performance testing.
• Develop systems to replay realistic HTTP/API requests, event traffic, and asynchronous workloads.
• Parse and process large API/event logs to identify traffic patterns.
• Transform datasets into structured, replayable test scenarios.
• Create tooling to clean, anonymize, and enrich production traffic data before replay.
• Integrate tooling with CI/CD and existing performance testing infrastructure.
