Job description

We Are Hiring
  • Department: Ascension Quality Improvement - Business Administration
  • Schedule: Normal Business Hours - Monday through Friday
  • Location: Remote
What You Will Do

Facilitate the development and definition of ideas that will improve the organization.

  • Evaluate departments and services to define best practices and encourage positive, progressive change.
  • Stay current on healthcare trends and advances.
  • Identify the financial, operational, and clinical data necessary for evaluating change initiatives.
  • Determine steps, tools, and training needed to implement process or structural changes.
  • Oversee assigned projects and project teams, collaborating with executive leadership to access necessary resources.
  • Manage resources, processes, and quality assurance within the scope of responsibility.
  • Develop and update ongoing management plans.
  • Monitor and ensure that project plans, reporting mechanisms, issue resolution processes, and communications meet quality standards and are timely.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Lean Healthcare Management certification preferred; licensure required as per state regulations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; licensure required as per state regulations.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) preferred; licensure required as per state regulations.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, OR associate's/bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of relevant job experience.
Additional Preferences
  • Healthcare quality professional experience preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification in performance improvement preferred.
