Job summary

State of Arizona DES seeks a Performance Improvement Specialist to join the Division of Developmental Disabilities. The role focuses on data dashboards, analytics, and performance improvement, with remote work options within Arizona.

The ideal candidate will have BI experience, strong communication, and project management skills. Fully remote within Arizona is possible; occasional in-person collaboration may occur.

Qualifications

• Experience with data gathering, storage, and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience building BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration across teams.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid insights is a plus.
• Lean/continuous improvement understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, organizes and verifies data from multiple sources.
• Develops dashboards and data visualization for performance improvement.
• Maintains data spreadsheets and supports new data processes.
• Plans analysis for future data collection needs.
• Tracks performance measures and outcomes over time.
• Creates interactive Tableau dashboards for decision making.
