American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a mid‑level technician to perform chemical analyses and IH testing for power plant equipment efficiency. You will support water pretreatment, sample collection, and analytical duties across plant operations in a hands‑on, safety‑minded team.
The role requires a two‑year associate degree in chemistry/biology/environmental fields (or equiv) and related experience; a Tech exam and a valid driver’s license are required.

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
