Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks a Performance Engineer to drive scalable performance testing across distributed microservices. You will design tests, implement AI-assisted strategies, and partner with AI-enabled tooling to gain deep observability across apps, infra, and databases.

The role requires hands-on use of JMeter, AppDynamics, Grafana, and Datadog, plus scripting in Python/Java/JavaScript. You will communicate findings effectively and help optimize CI/CD workflows in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing using industry tools and scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, caching and messaging systems.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics across application, infrastructure and database layers.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted engineering tools used in performance analysis, test automation, observability or operational intelligence.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy or Shell).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute performance tests across complex microservice architectures.
• Analyze performance metrics across layers (application, infra, DB) and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with DevOps/CI-CD teams to improve observability and deployment pipelines.
• Evaluate AI-assisted tooling for test automation and performance insights.
• Document findings and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
