Job summary

Maximus seeks a Nutrition and Performance Dietitian to lead and integrate nutrition programs across the POTFF and related units. You will plan, assess, and guide nutrition strategies, supervise project staff, and liaise with command to optimize performance and readiness.

The role requires advanced credentials (RD/RDN, CSSD) and significant experience with NCAA/ Olympic/ professional athletes, including on-site engagement with military settings. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of professional experience.
• Licensure as a therapist in the practicing state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science or related field.
• RD or RDN certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years as Sport/Performance Dietitian with athletes at NCAA/Olympic/pro teams.
• Government civilian/contractor experience may count if embedded on-site.
• CSSD certification required, may be deferred for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with contract and regulations.
• Analyze reports for performance measurement and efficiencies.
• Develop strategic plans and monitor performance goals for project and staff.
• Provide nutrition planning, counseling, and education for individuals and groups.
• Advise on dining facility nutrition and coordinate between food service and command.
• Develop protocols to optimize performance and readiness and rehabilitation.
