Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an Associate Director, Commercial & Procurement to lead and assure procurement governance, compliance, and reporting across the Trust. The role drives statutory adherence in tenders, supports savings targets and accreditation renewals, and acts as the procurement expert for the organisation.

The post focuses on ensuring timely publications, KPI oversight, and collaboration with senior management to optimise procurement outcomes across multiple sites

Qualifications

  • Public sector procurement expertise including Procurement Act 2023.
  • Ability to advise senior management and lead on procurement governance.

Job Summary

  • A high degree of specialist knowledge in public sector procurement and in particular the Procurement Act 2023
  • Able to have impact on a wider team of procurement colleagues
  • Work on their own initiative
  • Advising senior management
  • Managing procurement risks, compliance and governance to ensure procurement activities are compliant with regulatory and statutory obligations
  • Able to analyse performance data and drive improvements
