Job summary

EXOS in Durham, NC is seeking a Performance Coach to join a corporate wellness center focused on personalized fitness programs and group classes. You will supervise safety, lead diverse classes, and tailor plans for clients at all levels, including high‑risk populations, to promote engagement and health goals.

The role includes one‑on‑one consultations, program design, and supporting incentive and health-promotion initiatives, with day‑to‑day facility operations and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and customer service mindset.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality, strong customer service abilities, and a talent for building lasting client relationships.
