Job summary

EXOS Works, LLC is seeking a Performance Coach to lead group exercise classes, conduct assessments, and tailor programs for clients in a corporate wellness environment. The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and personalized training to support diverse client goals.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science or Kinesiology, maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and bring at least 6 months of relevant experience with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification from a nationally accredited organization (required).
  • Current certifications such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE preferred.
  • At least 6 months of industry experience, including internships.
  • Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
  • Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes that cater to various fitness levels.
  • Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design effective workout programs for a wide range of clients, including high‑risk populations.
  • Offer one‑on‑one consultations, personalized training, and motivation to help clients succeed in their fitness journeys.
  • Assist in covering tasks that carry out the plans to implement incentive, health promotion, and other specialty programs, with the goal of driving engagement.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations and assist with additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
