Job summary

Parametric, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, seeks an Analyst, Performance Attribution to prepare attribution analyses for institutional and wealth-management clients, coordinating with portfolio managers and other teams to deliver accurate results.

You will ensure data integrity, support commentary, and expand knowledge of Parametric products and strategies; requires a 4-year degree and 2+ years’ experience, with advanced Excel and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or quantitative field.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of asset management and alternatives investments.
• Understanding of attribution theory and practice.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc performance attribution analysis for institutional and wealth management clients.
• Coordinate commentary with portfolio managers.
• Perform detailed peer review of deliverables.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of requests.
• Investigate portfolio-specific inquiries.
• Contribute to integration of attribution reporting across Parametric and MSIM lines.
• Develop knowledge of Parametric products and strategies.
• Uphold professionalism, accuracy, and client service.
