EDSI seeks a Performance and Data Coordinator for the P3 program in Philadelphia. This role oversees data processing, QA, and performance reporting to meet contract benchmarks. You will lead the data system of record, train staff, and reconcile monthly program outputs, collaborating on payroll, policy improvements, and data maintenance.

The position supports DSN's Safe Neighborhoods initiatives and requires strong data management and communication skills with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in human service, public safety, and/or workforce development programming.
  • Experience with learning management systems and/or customer relationship management platforms.
  • Proficient in data management and database design principles.
  • Experience analyzing data and translating data into reporting formats.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day data processing, quality assurance procedures, and performance reporting to ensure contract benchmarks are met or exceeded.
  • Serve as the lead expert in the data system of record, providing training and technical assistance to staff.
  • Reconcile monthly reports on program outputs.
  • Collaborate with team on payroll and wage expenditures.
  • Review, assess and recommend improvements to all policies related to data capture.
  • Enter, edit, retrieve, and validate data in appropriate tracking and databases, and perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and prepare reports related to program activities.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the maintenance of performance, record keeping, and distribution of data along with other types of office/program systems.

Job Description:Title: Performance and Data CoordinatorClassification: Non-ExemptSalary: $64,000/yearProgram Description: The Office of Public Safety (OPS), Division of Safe Neighborhoods’ (DSN) program, Pushing Progress Philly (P3), will serve Philadelphians who are at least 18 years old, at elevated risk of gun violence, and resistant to typical interventions. Program components include street outreach, case management, transitional jobs, coaching and behavioral health curriculum. P3’s goals are to reduce disparities between neighborhoods, particularly economic well-being and community safety disparities, increase opportunities for Black men to participate in the workforce and to have increased economic security, and improve neighborhood safety, with a reduction in gun violence, fewer homicides, and safer streets. Neighborhoods of P3 program delivery currently include Germantown and may expand to other identified neighborhoods. This Data and Performance Coordinator role is part of EDSI’s function as the Job Coaching and Transitional Jobs role in the P3 ecosystem.Scope of PositionOversee day-to-day data processing, quality assurance procedures, and performance reporting to ensure contract benchmarks are successful met or exceeded.Serve as the lead expert in the data system of record, providing training and technical assistance to staffReconcile monthly reports on program outputsCollaborate with team on payroll and wage expendituresReview, assess and recommend improvements to all policies related to data captureSupport and improve program operations, data capture, and report writing and generating capabilitiesEssential FunctionsWork with DSN, leadership team and direct staff to ensure effective and efficient data management, service delivery, and compliance with federal, state, and local policies and proceduresAnalyze performance and compile and submit monthly reports to funder; develop quality improvement plans when necessaryEnter, edit, retrieve, and validate data in appropriate tracking and databases, and perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and prepare reports related to program activitiesManage the development of new project reports and modification of current reports, as neededCollaborate across staff to ensure prompt support is provided regarding performance tracking and billing questionsAttend all system of record trainings and serve as the team expert, providing technical support and training as neededPresent data and report to leadership in a clear and effective manner, using graphs, tables, and other methodsExecute cross-functional team collaboration to identify barriers to performance measures and recommend data processes to better capture services and outcomesServe as the ISO Representative and manage monthly file auditsDevelop, implement, and oversee the maintenance of performance, record keeping, and distribution of data along with other types of office/program systemsCollaborate with P3 leadership and Transitional Jobs leadership to track monetary line items and quality check tracking of stipends and transitional job wagesAttend all meeting coordinated by funderOther opportunities as availableEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree requiredExperience in human service, public safety, and/or workforce development programming requiredExperience in various learning management systems and/or customer relationship management platforms requiredWorking knowledge of data management and database design principles.Proficient in project management software such as SharePoint and Microsoft Project.Experience in analyzing data and translating data into reporting formats for a stakeholder audienceExcellent interpersonal communication skills3-5 years of data management experienceAbility to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitudeIndividuals with criminal records and/or lived experience with community violence are encouraged to applyExperience working with justice-involved populations, demonstrated knowledge of challenges facing justice-involved populationsKnowledge of and experience working with Philadelphia communitiesMost be comfortable with local travel and have access to reliable transportationEDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
