Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Thompson, CT is hiring a Per Visit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Homecare team. The Per Visit RN provides comprehensive nursing services to individuals and families, serving as a primary care nurse on an interim basis to cover for a permanent RN.

We value skilled, compassionate care delivered in patients' homes. You will work daytime hours, maintain complete patient records, educate families, and collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to ensure high-quality,

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Connecticut RN license required.
• Minimum two years of recent medical/acute or critical care experience.
• Valid CT driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care to patients in their homes and maintains records.
• Teaches, demonstrates, supervises and evaluates care given by family members and caregivers.
• Performs venipuncture to administer IV medications per home care protocols.
