Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to produce high-quality radiographs per CityMD X-ray protocols and health regulations. You will document results, support radiologists, and help maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires full-time availability, weekend work, and strong attention to detail. Bilingual candidates may be preferred depending on site location and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-Ray Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures to patients.
• Ability to: perform basic X-ray studies (chest, hand, wrist, forearm, etc.), position patients, and interpret provider instructions.
• Full-time schedule including weekends.
• Bilingual language skills based on site location.

Responsibilities

• Perform common X-ray studies: Chest, Extremity, Spinal, Abdomen X-rays.
• Document studies and facilitate communication between Provider and Radiologist.
• Maintain QC logs and compliance with DOH requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software malfunctions and notify management.
• Assist with patient flow and use the flag system for staff communication.
• Record vital signs in the EMR.
• Assist with CLIA waived tests, EKGs, splints, sling placement, and crutches.
• Maintain cleanliness of the site and surrounding areas.
• Support exceptional patient care, safety, and best practices.
