Albany Med Health System is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Vascular Surgery unit (M5/C5) on a per diem, part-time basis at 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY. The role includes implementing physician orders, starting IVs, administering medications, and coordinating care with the team.

Candidates must be a graduate nurse with NYS RN license and BLS/ACLS, 1–3 years Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience, strong communication, prioritization and time-management skills.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1–3 years RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.

Responsabilidades

• Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and documents care as required.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
• Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
• Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
