Job summary

The Miriam Hospital is seeking a per diem registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care on an on-site basis at our Providence, RI facility. The nurse will advocate for patients, participate in the nursing process, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective treatment and family involvement.

Responsibilities include documenting care, adjusting plans as needed, and maintaining standards in line with hospital policies and Rhode Island nursing regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in RI or current compact state.
• BSN preferred; nurse practice act compliance.
• CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and apply nursing process.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses to treatment.
• Maintain safety and infection-control practices; provide patient comfort.
