Job summary

Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist to join the Diagnostic Ultrasound department. You will perform ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure high-quality recordings for interpretation.

The role requires RDMS/ARRT certification or equivalent, graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, current BCLS, and proficiency with PACS. Prior experience is preferred, and compensation is hourly with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and produce diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Position patient and equipment and obtain appropriate recordings.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
