Job summary

Bridgton Hospital, part of Central Maine Healthcare and Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist in Bridgton, ME. You will perform ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and ensure recordings are captured and transmitted to PACS.

Requirements include RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT(S) certification within 90 days, graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, BCLS, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT(S) certification in at least one body or region within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Perform all ultrasound exams with proficiency for diagnostic interpretation.
• Position patient and equipment and produce appropriate recordings.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
