Job summary

Atria Health and Research Institute in New York seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams in accordance with safety protocols, ensuring patient comfort and accurate results.

You will operate Philips and Canon ultrasound systems, maintain high professional standards, and coordinate with physicians. Required licenses and certifications must be current; Athena software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical School Diploma required.
• Current License required.
• RDMS and RDCS certification required.
• Current ARRT registration required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist.
• Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy.
• Committed to excellence, high standards and collegiality.
• Experience working with Philips & Cannon Ultrasound machines.
• Experience using Athena (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
• Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
• Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional

• $70-80/hr

Requirements
