Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a per diem Ultrasound Technologist to perform general, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts studies. The role requires supervised abdomen/OB exams, adherence to ultrasound protocol, and collaboration with radiologists for interpretation.

Applicants should be AMA-approved graduates, registered in Abdomen or OB (within one year of hire) and CPR certified; RVT is a plus. Per diem, with holidays, weekends and overnight coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform Abdomen/OB exams with some supervision.
• Registered in Abdomen or OB and must be registered within one year of hire.
• RVT registry is a plus.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts ultrasound procedures per protocol.
• Provide optimal images for diagnostic non-invasive assessment of abdomen, pelvis, and pregnancy.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures with sterile technique.
• Maintain patient history and imaging documentation for interpretation.
