Job summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to operate ultrasound and Doppler equipment and perform general, vascular, and OB/GYN studies.

This per diem position requires availability for after-hours call, including overnights, weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 8 shifts per month; ARDMS RVT eligible, CPR certified, and craft/technical school education are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–3 months experience required; 6 months–1 year preferred.
• RVT certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• ARDMS RVT eligible(Registered Vascular Technician) preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• Education: Craft or technical school up to 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound/Doppler equipment to perform ultrasound examinations.
• Perform general US, vascular US, and OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Be available for after-hours call, minimum of 8 shifts per month, including overnights, weekends and holidays.
