Job summary

Emerson Health is seeking a Group Facilitator for its inpatient Behavioral Health team. You will lead therapeutic groups and activities to support patient recovery in a trauma-informed, patient-centered environment.

This per diem, day/evening role offers structured programming and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. You will document progress, maintain confidentiality, and work to promote positive outcomes in a supportive inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counseling, psychology, occupational therapy, or related field.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic groups for inpatient behavioral health patients.
• Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered programming that promotes recovery.
• Assess group dynamics and individual participation to support therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to align group content with treatment plans.
• Encourage patient participation, emotional expression, and skill-building.
• Monitor patient behavior and respond to maintain a safe environment.
• Document group participation and patient progress per clinical standards.
• Maintain a respectful, confidential care environment.
