University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) in Las Vegas is an academic medical center and the anchor of the Las Vegas Medical District.

UMC hosts Nevada's only nonprofit Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-recognized status, and provides anesthesia to trauma patients in emergencies.

Qualifications include MD/DO, Anesthesiology Residency, Trauma Anesthesiology Fellowship, three years of trauma practice, Nevada license and DEA; board certification/eligibility.

Formación

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with anesthesia residency.
• Trauma anesthesiology fellowship and three years of trauma practice.
• Nevada medical license, DEA registration; BLS/ACLS/PALS as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide anesthesia to trauma patients in medical and surgical emergencies.
• Manage difficult airways and rapid resuscitation.
• Ensure adequate anesthesia and analgesia; optimize ventilation.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
